Bergamo, 5 July 2019 – Immobiliare Percassi Srl (holding company of a group operating for more than 50 years in the real estate and construction sector, led by Mr Francesco Percassi) and Polifin SpA (investment holding company of Mr Domenico Bosatelli who controls, among others, Gewiss SpA and Grupedil Srl, promoter of the innovative redevelopment project Chorus Life) today set up a joint venture for the creation of a new industrial holding company called ‘Costim Srl’.
This is a player – unique in the national landscape – which combines the industrial and organisational competences of its industrial partner (Immobiliare Percassi Srl) with the reliability, innovation and solidity of its financial partner (Polifin SpA), active throughout the entire real estate sector, also through operational units that are part of the new Group, for the realisation of turnkey projects on its own behalf and on behalf of third parties.
Costim Srl controls the entire capital of Impresa Percassi SpA (one of the main general contractors in the private civil construction sector), of Elmet Srl (a company active in the global service and integrated digital services for the ‘GSM’ real estate market) and 60% of Gualini SpA (a company with a long tradition, among the most important Italian companies for the planning and construction of building shells, from facades to windows and shutters).
The new Group’s turnover for 2019 is forecast at more than EUR 150 million, with the employment of more than 300 people. The Group was formed with the objective of improving the growth, consolidation, reliability and internationalisation of the three industrial companies. Costim Srl, in addition to being the operative parent company of the industrial group, will be the partner of Grupedil Srl in the realisation of Chorus Life Bergamo the futuristic property concept conceived by Mr Domenico Bosatelli, and in the replicability of this concept in other towns.
The new holding company was set up today with a share capital of EUR 20 million through the transfer by Immobiliare Percassi Srl and Polifin S.p.A. into a single vehicle of the holdings held by the same in Impresa Percassi SpA (100%), Elmet Srl (100%) and Gualini SpA, through the parent company Gtech Srl (60%). With reference to the latter, the Gualini family, founder of the company and holding 40% of the share capital, will continue to control the operational management of the business.
The Chairman of ‘Costim Srl’ is Mr Francesco Percassi (formerly Chairman of Immobiliare Percassi Srl and of Impresa Percassi SpA), while the Chief Executive Officer of the Group is Mr Jacopo Palermo (who also holds the same office in Impresa Percassi SpA).
